Construction of a Tripartite Interaction Model for Lacquerware Cultural and Creative Design Based on the Grounded Theory

Abstract

By adopting the grounded theory as the research method and starting from empirical data, the work aims to explore the operational mechanism of lacquerware cultural and creative products within the contemporary design context and construct a systematic "Tripartite Interaction Model for Lacquerware Cultural and Creative Design". By employing the research steps of the grounded theory, including open coding, axial coding and selective coding, a systematic analysis is conducted on social media texts, practitioner interviews and product cases. Following the principles of theoretical sampling and constant comparison, concepts are extracted from raw data and theoretical sampling is performed until theoretical saturation is achieved, thereby forming core categories and constructing a theoretical model. The research findings indicate that the operational logic system of lacquerware cultural and creative design exhibits dynamic characteristics of multi-agent collaboration. The value generation layer establishes the foundation of cultural identity and aesthetic cognition, the practice transformation layer facilitates the integration of design language and craftsmanship techniques, and the structural support layer forms the operational framework through industrial chain construction and social participation, thereby achieving cultural value reproduction and sustainable development. The constructed tripartite interaction model reveals the systematic generative mechanism of lacquerware cultural and creative design, providing an operational theoretical model and practical pathway for the modern transformation of intangible cultural heritage crafts.
