In the context of inheriting and developing excellent traditional Chinese culture, revitalizing traditional crafts and promoting the Belt and Road Initiative, the work aims to systematically organize Japanese collections of modern Chinese traditional craft documents, forming a bibliography and revealing the historical background and contemporary value of the documents. By combining philological research and field surveys, nearly a hundred survey reports, research writings, and craft catalogs from the late 19^th century to the mid-20^th century collected by Japanese cultural institutions are systematically organized, with the focus on comprehensive, ceramic, lacquerware, and other documents. An interdisciplinary approach is adopted to construct a database of modern Chinese traditional craft documents collected in Japan. The research shows that these documents truly record the inheritance, development, production, and sales of modern Chinese traditional crafts. The relevant crafts recorded in the documents provide a cross-cultural reference system for contemporary handicraft innovation. Japanese collections are not only an important cornerstone for the study of the history of traditional Chinese crafts but also have significant value for cultural heritage protection and the revitalization of traditional crafts.
