深入探讨“设计驱动创新”模式在传统制造业转型升级中的作用机制与实施路径。聚焦于艺术纸这一细分产业,研究回答传统企业如何通过整合设计资源、构建协同生态,从而实现从技术追赶到价值引领的跨越。采用纵向单案例研究方法,以浙江蓝碧源公司为研究对象,系统梳理其1994年至2024年的三十年发展历程。通过深度访谈、内部资料分析及历史数据追溯,详细分析了该企业从进口代理、自主生产到与设计师深度协同的战略演进路径,考察了其如何通过“生产-设计-服务”生态的构建将设计力转化为核心创新动能。研究结果表明,设计驱动创新是传统制造业实现高质量发展的有效战略。蓝碧源通过将设计前置并深度嵌入产业链,成功推动了高档艺术纸的进口替代与价值重塑,并开拓了文创、家居、时尚等跨界应用新场景。其成功的关键在于实现了从“供应商”到“生态构建者”的角色蜕变,构建了一个多方共赢的产业创新生态系统。该案例为其他传统制造企业通过设计与产业融合实现转型升级提供了可资借鉴的范式与路径。

This study examines how the "design-driven innovation" model operates and can be applied to transform traditional manufacturing industries. With focuses on the art paper sector, the research explores how traditional enterprises can transition from a state of technological catch-up to one of value leadership by incorporating design resources and establishing collaborative ecosystems. This study employs a longitudinal single-case design. With Zhejiang LBY PAPER as the subject, the study follows its development over thirty years, from 1994 to 2024. It uses in-depth interviews, analysis of internal documents, and historical data to examine the company's shift from an import agency and independent production model to a collaborative design approach. It demonstrates how LBY established a "production-design-service" ecosystem and leveraged design skills to drive core innovation momentum. The findings show that design-driven innovation is a strong strategy for traditional manufacturing companies to achieve high-quality development. By placing design early and embedding it into the industrial chain, LBY led import substitution and value repositioning for premium art papers. It also pioneered cross-sector uses in culture, home, and fashion. Its key was shifting from "supplier" to "ecosystem builder", creating a mutually beneficial innovation network. This case offers a useful example for other traditional manufacturers seeking transformation through design and industry integration.
