In the context of the“5G" era, the innovative development of digital product service design for the elderly has become an urgent need. The principles for the design of digital products and services for the elderly under the "Intemet +”platform and the development trends and prospects of digital products for the elderly were discussed. By analyzing the principles and directions of product design for the elderly in the traditional product design industry, some design problems existing in digital products for the elderly were summarized, and the cases of mobile phone for the elderly were studied based on the scensory, physiological, and psychological charateristics of the elderly to discuss the principles of digital product and service design for the elderly.
